The Emergency Medicine Cardiology Course is an Advanced EM Cardiology course to help Emergency Physicians, Residents, Internists, PAs, NPs, and RNs diagnose and manage the spectrum of life-threatening cardiac presentations seen in the ED. Hundreds of real cases will be reviewed. This high-yield, life-saving course will change your practice on your next shift!

This online course is not a review of basic EM cardiology.

EMC2 covers

  • Challenging and confounding diagnoses.

  • Advanced EKGs – focused on subtle ischemic findings, confounding mimics, and mastering arrhythmias

  • Bonus post-course lectures feature core EM cardiology topics

  • All sessions taught by Dr. Amal Mattu

  • This event is an Accredited Group Learning Activity (Section 1) of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and approved for a maximum of 13 hours.

  • This Assessment program has been certified by the College of Family Physicians of Canada for up to 29.50 Mainpro+ credits.

Reciprocal Accreditation Agreements with the US (AAFP and AMA)

 

  • AAFP members who complete any CME/CPD activity certified by the CFPC for Mainpro+ Certified credit can claim the equivalent number of AAFP Prescribed credits. 

  • Through an agreement between the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and the American Medical Association, physicians may convert Royal College MOC credits to AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.
