North York General Hospital, Nanji Academic Centre

The 10th Annual Neonatal Pediatric Education Day is designed to provide participants with clinical updates on important topics affecting care of preterm infants, newborns and children in a community hospital setting.

In addition to expanding clinically relevant medical knowledge, participants will have the opportunity to enhance their teaching, communication and procedural skills.

This day will consist of a variety of learning formats including in-depth lectures, clinical quick hit sessions, simulation workshops and interactive round table discussions on controversial topics in community hospitalist-based neonatal and paediatric medicine.

Opportunities for networking will allow participants to engage in meaningful discussions with their hospitalist peers from across the city.

This event has been approved by the Canadian Paediatric Society for a maximum of 5.5 credit hours as an Accredited Group Learning Activity (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.  The specific opinions and content of this event are not necessarily those of the CPS, and are the responsibility of the organizer(s) alone.
